Get USDC on Arc
Move USDC from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and five other chains onto Arc, without wrapping it and without handing it to anyone.
Everything on ubi.fun is priced and settled in USDC on Arc. If your USDC is somewhere else, the Bridge page brings it over.
It uses Circle’s CCTP, the transfer protocol built by the company that issues USDC. Your USDC is burned on the chain it starts on, Circle signs a proof that the burn happened, and the same amount of native USDC is created on Arc.
That matters for two reasons:
- Nothing arrives wrapped. What lands on Arc is real USDC, the same asset every market here uses. There is no “bridged USDC” variant to unwrap or swap out of.
- Nobody holds your money. There is no pooled bridge to be drained and no custodian in the middle. Every step is a transaction you sign, against Circle’s own contracts. ubi.fun never touches the funds.
Before you start
You need a wallet holding USDC on one of these chains, plus a little of that chain’s normal gas token to pay for the transaction:
Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Unichain, Polygon, Avalanche, and Linea.
Base and Arbitrum are usually the cheapest to leave from. Ethereum works but its gas costs the most.
Bringing USDC over
-
Open Bridge and pick where your USDC is. The page reads your balance on that chain straight away.
-
Enter an amount. You will see exactly what arrives on Arc before you commit to anything.
-
Approve USDC. A one-time permission per chain, so Circle’s contract can burn the amount you chose. If you have bridged from this chain before, this step is skipped.
-
Confirm the transfer. This is the burn. Your USDC leaves the source chain here, and this step cannot be undone.
-
Wait for Circle to sign it. Usually about 15 minutes. The page keeps checking on its own, and you can close the tab.
-
Finish on Arc. Press Complete on Arc and your USDC is created in your wallet. You are ready to trade.
What it costs
The bridge itself is free. Circle charges nothing for the standard transfer this page uses, and ubi.fun adds no fee of its own. You pay only:
- ordinary gas on the chain you are leaving, and
- roughly a cent of USDC on Arc for the final step, because Arc pays its gas in USDC.
That last cent is the one thing worth planning for. If your Arc wallet is completely empty, you need a small amount of USDC there to press the final button. Anyone can deliver a transfer, so a friend or another wallet of yours can also finish it for you.
Why a transfer sometimes has to wait
Arc is new, and Circle limits how much USDC can be created there while it opens the network up. That limit is shared by everyone bridging to Arc, and right now it is small.
The Bridge page reads that limit live and shows it as Arc can mint right now. If your amount is larger than what is left, the page will not let you burn by default. This is deliberate: the burn on the source chain is permanent, so sending more than Arc can currently create would leave your USDC waiting with no fixed date.
You can still choose to go ahead, by ticking Burn now and wait for Arc capacity. Be clear about what that means:
- Your USDC is burned immediately and is gone from the source chain.
- It is created on Arc only once Circle raises the limit. There is no promised date.
- Burning earlier does not put you ahead of anyone. There is no queue and no priority. Whoever presses the final button while capacity exists gets it.
Your USDC is never lost either way. Circle keeps the signed proof indefinitely, and the transfer can be finished at any point in the future.
If you lose track of a transfer
The page remembers transfers in your browser. Clear your browsing data or move to another device and that record can disappear, even though the transfer itself is perfectly fine.
To pick it back up, open Recover a transfer at the bottom of the Bridge page and paste the transaction hash of your burn. You will find it in your wallet’s activity list or on the source chain’s block explorer. The page checks it with Circle, confirms the transfer pays your wallet, and puts it back so you can finish it.
Going the other way
Moving USDC out of Arc is not open yet. Circle caps outbound transfers from Arc while the network is new, at an amount too small to be useful. When that cap is lifted, withdrawals will appear on the same page. Deposits are unaffected.
