X-handle recipients
Give a share of your coin's earnings to an X handle, before that person has ever connected a wallet.
Want to launch a coin and give 50% of your earnings to @someone who’s never heard of ubi.fun? You can. Name any X handle as a split recipient at launch, and their share starts accruing immediately, held by a contract only they can ever unlock.
How it works
-
At launch, type the handle. In the Split earnings section, enter
@handle(or justhandle) as a recipient. The app shows the account’s avatar and name so you can confirm you’ve got the right person before you sign. -
Their share accrues in a dedicated escrow. Each handle gets its own deterministic escrow contract, an address derived purely from the handle itself. Fees flow there from day one, whether or not the escrow has even been deployed yet.
-
The owner verifies once. When the handle’s owner shows up, they sign in with X on the claim page, connect a wallet, and submit one transaction binding their handle to that wallet, recorded on-chain.
-
Anyone can trigger the payout. After binding, claiming is permissionless. Whoever pays the gas, the money can only ever move to the bound wallet.
The custody model, stated precisely
This feature is designed so that the platform never holds the handle’s money:
- The escrow is a contract whose only capability is forwarding its balance to the wallet bound on-chain for that handle. There is no withdrawal path for us, the launcher, or anyone else.
- Verification uses a platform-run signer that attests “this X account authorized this wallet” after an X login. That signer’s power is binding only. It cannot move funds, and every binding is a public on-chain event that can be repeated through the same process after lost keys or a wallet change.
- Until the owner verifies, the share simply waits in the escrow. It cannot be reassigned, redirected, or clawed back, not by the launcher, not by us.
Claiming as a handle owner
Open Claim handle earnings (linked in the footer), hit Verify with X, sign in as your handle, and submit the binding your wallet is asked to sign. Then paste the coin that pays your handle. The page shows your claimable USDC, and one click sends it to your bound wallet.
