FAQ
The questions people actually ask, answered without hedging.
Is there a ubi.fun token?
Not today. Everything on the platform runs on the coins people launch here, holder income comes from holding those, and nothing requires buying, staking, or farming a platform asset. When people see “holding earns,” this is what it means: their coins, not ours.
I hold a coin. Why haven’t I earned anything today?
Two likely reasons. Your coin may have had no trading volume today. The pool splits by volume first, so a coin only earns for its holders while people trade it. Or your entitlement is still under the $0.01 floor and is accumulating until it’s worth a claim. Either way, nothing is lost; entitlements are cumulative.
Can a creator rug a coin launched here?
Not through the market: liquidity is locked in the protocol, and there is no pull path. A creator can still sell their own holdings or their revenue NFT like anyone else, watch supply concentration like you would anywhere.
What a creator exit doesn’t change: the economics are written into the coin, not into the creator. As long as the coin trades, 24% of every fee still flows to its holders, and any buyback keeps buying and burning. A creator selling ends their involvement, not the coin’s income.
What if I launch a coin and only I trade it?
You’ll pay 1.25% per swap and get back at most your own creator share, your own holder slice, and your own referral cut. That guarantees a net loss. The volume-weighted pool means self-trading only recycles your own fees minus the team leg. It inflates your chart’s volume and nothing else.
Why is my new coin’s chart flat?
Either its anti-sniper window is active, everyone pays the same fixed price until it ends, which is the point, or it simply hasn’t traded yet.
Do I need a special wallet?
A regular browser-extension wallet or anything reachable over WalletConnect. Arc uses USDC for gas, so you need a little USDC on Arc rather than ETH. Note that smart-contract wallets don’t earn holder income at v1, use a regular wallet for holdings you want earning.
When do payouts arrive?
Epochs close at 00 UTC daily. Each day’s payout dataset publishes first, its root then waits out a one-day public review window, and after activation your claim is available on the Rewards page. One claim collects everything you’re owed to date.
Who takes custody of my earnings?
Contracts, not us. Creator revenue, referral cuts, holder entitlements, and X-handle shares each sit in escrow contracts that pay only their rightful on-chain owner. The full trust boundary, including exactly what we do operate, is in Security model.
Is ubi.fun audited?
We refuse to answer that with a yes, because the honest answer is scoped: the rewards distributor holding the pool is Morpho’s, audited three times; the launchpad contracts derive from an audited protocol lineage; our composition is published and verifiable on-chain. Read Security model for the precise claims.
